Level 5 Certificate in Aesthetic Practice

 

This qualification has 2 price options:

1. Learners already trained in Skin Peeling and Skin Needling  

2.Learners who have not completed previous Skin Needling or Skin Peeling training.

 

Option 1:

The Level 5 Certificate in Aesthetic Practice will provide you with the knowledge and understanding to gain a safe route into the aesthetic industry.

It will be the foundation route to progress onto the level 7 Certificate in Aesthetic Practice.

This qualification provides a specialist work-related programme of study which provides breadth and depth of knowledge and understanding, along with practical skills required in the aesthetics sector.

Course Units

• Legal and Regulatory Requirements in Aesthetic Practice
• Professional Standards within Aesthetic Practice
• Working Collaboratively with Healthcare Professionals
• Anatomy, Physiology, and Morphology of the Ageing Face
• Skin Micro-needling and Chemical Peels

Contents – ALL ASSIGNMENTS MUST BE COMPLETED, MARKED AND PASSED BEFORE SCHEDULING A DATE FOR PRACTICAL ASSESSMENTS. THE 5 UNITS OF SAQ’S MUST ALSO BE COMPLETED, MARKED AND PASSED BEFOREHAND.

• 5 units of SAQ’s (Approx 200-300 word answers are required for each question)
• 2 Assignments (Approx 2500 words are required for each assignment)
• Practical Assessments (3 consecutive days in venue)

Practical Dates are not run consecutively due to course specification:

Course Duration

QUALIFI guidelines state this course cannot be completed in less than 6 months or over 12 months from the date of sign up

Theory Course Delivery

The course will begin with an induction process, followed by assignment handout and support, which we will with a Assignment Study Day if required.

Pre-course requirements: (Proof of prior qualifications required)

• A minimum of a level 4 qualification of equivalent

Or

• A minimum of 3 years experience in current and relevant industry knowledge

Plus

• Current basic life support and anaphylasix management training (we offer this if needed at £65)

Option 2:

The Level 5 Certificate in Aesthetic Practice will provide you with the knowledge and understanding to gain a safe route into the aesthetic industry.

This pathway is for those who currently do not hold any certification in Chemical Peels or Skin Needling, so extra time is needed to gain confidence and skills before going onto the qualification section of this Pathway. You will gain CPD Certification and QUALIFI Qualification in both treatments.

It will be the foundation route to progress onto the Level 7 Certificate in Aesthetic Practice.

This qualification provides a specialist work-related programme of study which provides breadth and depth of knowledge and understanding, along with practical skills required in the aesthetics sector.
