Course Overview

What is SPMU (Semi-permanent make up)?
Semi-permanent make up (SPMU) is the safe application of specially formulated pigment into the skin to create beautifully enhanced facial features, that require minimal effort to maintain. YOU will learn how to create long-lasting Eyebrows, Top and Bottom Eye Liner, Lip Blush and Lip Liner using a digital machine.

Entry requirements
There are no pre-requisites for this course.

Duration
3 days theory and practical in academy.

Course Structure
Your comprehensive hands-on training will be supervised by highly skilled and experienced trainers in small groups to maximize retention of knowledge. You will see demonstrations before moving onto models. Plenty of time is allocated to this part of the training, so that you are confident to practice independently afterwards

Models
You are required to supply at least 3 models. If you are unable to provide models, please let us know upon booking so we can assist where possible with alternative options.

Model Requirements
2 x Models for Brows and Lip Liner and Blush.
1 x Model for top and bottom eyeliner (this can be the same model)
Models can have more than one treatment

Dress Code
To meet industry standards a professional beauty uniform or scrubs are our preferred option. If you are yet to purchase salon/clinic uniform, plain black clothing is acceptable. Long sleeves must be rolled up to prevent cross contamination, jewellery must be removed, hair should be tied up, therefore nails must be kept short and tidy, and all shoes must be closed toe. Flip flops are not suitable.
