What are Vitamin D injections?
Known as the Sunshine injection, Vit D is fast becoming an essential vitamin in the fight against covid. 1 in 5 of the UK population experience a deficiency in Vitamin D. This is a fat-soluble injection which helps to reduce the risk of many diseases and is very important in regulating mood and warding of depression. It also aids in strengthening bones, protects against heart disease, reduces hypertension, and reduces the risks associated with obesity.
Entry requirements
This course is suitable for both medics and non-medics.
Medics – Medically qualified as a nurse, doctor, or dentist with current registration with the NMC, GMC or GDC – direct entry is permitted
NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy (general route, not massage) – Direct entry is permitted
12 months needling experience or 6 months needling experience and level 3 Anatomy & physiology or above

1-day of theory plus Zoom/Video call
Course Structure
The theory is undertaken on our student friendly eLearning portal in which we recommend 8 -16 hours online study.
Models
You are required to supply at least 1 model to cover competent injecting of Vitamin D.
