What is our Master Masseuse Training Course?
Three Massage techniques in one course!
1.Swedish massage is a whole-body therapeutic massage treatment that works the soft tissues and muscles to help restore health – creating a calming and balancing effect on the nervous system.
You will learn five main types of massage techniques in a Swedish massage: stroking and gliding; kneading; rubbing; tapping or pounding; vibration.
2. Indian Head Massage is a treatment focused on massaging acupressure points on the head, neck and shoulders using circular strokes to improve scalp and hair condition.
3. Hot stone therapy is a specialist massage that uses smooth, flat, heated basalt stones that are positioned along your spine, in the palms of your hands, along your legs and between the toes. Typically, from riverbeds, basalt stones are used for massage as they have a rich iron content that retains heat. Cold marble stones are often used in the treatment to help aid with detoxing and healing the body.
This is a comprehensive and intensive course covering the delivery of a Hot and Cold Stones treatment. You will learn how to correctly place stones, incorporate stones into your massage and balance the body with chakra stones.

2 day’s practical training in academy.
Course Structure
The theory is undertaken on our student friendly eLearning portal in which we recommend 8 -16 hours online study. On the practical day theory will be clarified, enabling us to focus more on the practical hands-on training.
Your comprehensive hands-on training will be supervised by highly skilled and experienced aesthetic trainers in small groups to maximize retention of knowledge. You will see demonstrations before moving onto models. Plenty of time is allocated to this part of the day, so that you are confident to practice independently afterwards.
Models
You are required to supply 2 models for your practical training day. If you are unable to provide models, please let us know upon booking so we can assist where possible with alternative options.
Dress Code
To meet industry standards a professional beauty uniform or scrubs are our preferred option. If you are yet to purchase salon/clinic uniform, plain black clothing is acceptable. Long sleeves must be rolled up to prevent cross contamination, jewellery must be removed, hair should be tied up, nails must be kept short and tidy, and all shoes must be closed toe. Flip flops are not suitable.
