What is Foundation Wrinkle Relaxing
On our 2 Day Foundation Wrinkle Relaxing and Line Reduction training course you will gain the knowledge and skills to carry out the most commonly requested facial aesthetic injectable treatments in industry to relax wrinkles using Botulinum Toxin, often just called “Botox”,
Botulinum Toxin is a clinically-tested natural, purified protein which, when injected, can temporarily weaken specific facial muscles. As a result, skin cannot crease as much, so appears smoother and more relaxed. Botulinum toxin has used to treat wrinkles and lines for more than 20 years and used in medicine in much larger doses for even longer.
Areas treated with wrinkle-relaxing injections include:
Frown lines between the brows
Crow’s feet around the eyes
Lines and furrow on the forehead
Entry requirements
Medics – Medically qualified as a nurse, doctor or dentist with current registration with the NMC,GMC or GDC – direct entry is permitted
NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy (general route, not massage) – Direct entry is permitted
12 months needling experience or 6 months needling experience and level 3 Anatomy & physiology or above

Duration
2/3 days theory plus 1 day practical training in academy.
Course Structure
The theory is undertaken on our student friendly leaning portal in which we recommend 8 -16 hours online study. On the practical day theory will be clarified, enabling us to focus more on the practical hands-on training.
Your comprehensive hands-on training will be supervised by highly-skilled and experienced aesthetic trainers in small groups to maximize retention of knowledge. You will see demonstrations before moving onto models. Plenty of time is allocated to this part of the day, so that you are confident to practice independently afterwards
Models
You are required to supply at least 3 models to cover all 3 the areas, ( Frown lines between the brows, Crow’s feet around the eyes, Lines and furrow on the forehead) Models can have multiple areas, but we must see at least 3 of each to competently certify you for the practical elements. If you are unable to provide models, please let us know upon booking so we can discuss your options.
Dress Code
To meet industry standards a professional beauty uniform or scrubs are our preferred option. If you are yet to purchase salon/clinic dress, plain black clothing is acceptable. Sleeves must be rolled up to prevent cross contamination, jewellery must be removed, hair should be tied back, nails should be short and tidy and all shoes must be closed toe. Flip flops are not suitable.
