Course Overview
What is Microblading?
Microblading, is the application of semi-permanent makeup, but instead of achieving this with a machine, a hand-held tool is used with replaceable, disposable blades comprised of many small needles. This hand-held tool is not electric, and the hair strokes are drawn in by hand. This technique allows for the soft creation of hair strokes that replicate a more natural brow. This course is only suited to existing therapists who have previous Beauty experience in eyebrow services.

There are no pre-requisites for this course.
Duration
E-Learning Theory followed by 1 Day Practical in Academy
Course Structure
Following your detailed E-Learning theory your comprehensive hands-on training will be supervised by highly-skilled trainers in small groups to maximize retention of knowledge. You will see demonstrations before moving onto models. Plenty of time is allocated to this part of the practical day in academy so that you are confident to practice independently afterwards.
Models
You are required to supply a model for the practical application, followed by 4 further case studies to be submitted to us for certification. If you are unable to provide a model, please let us know upon booking so we can assist where possible with alternative options.
Case Studies
Following the course you will be expected to carry out the required case studies in your own time to submit to our trainer for marking and feedback.
Dress Code
To meet industry standards a professional beauty uniform or scrubs are our preferred option. If you are yet to purchase salon/clinic uniform, plain black clothing is acceptable. Long sleeves must be rolled up to prevent cross contamination, jewellery must be removed, hair should be tied up, excessively long nails are hard to work with therefore nails must be kept short and tidy and all shoes must be closed toe. Flip flops are not suitable
