What Qualification will I gain?
The Learn Your Own Face course allows you to gain an accredited and insurable qualification in performing Make Up. The course includes the essential Health and Safety, and Techniques required to perform this procedure.
What qualification / experience is needed?
No specific qualifications and/or experience is required, however a keen interest in the industry is desirable.
We strongly recommend that you check with an insurance provider to confirm that upon certification you will be insurable as a practitioner.
We are partnered with INSYNC Insurance. You can obtain a quote below.
How much will the course cost?
The course cost is £1000 which is inclusive of all learning materials, certification and a starter kit or £600 without a kit.
Course Structure
At home study
You will gain access to the pre-course materials on our online training platform. It is essential to complete the learning material prior to coming into the academy for your practical training. This pre-reading is essential to equip you with the knowledge that you will need to perform the procedure safely and correctly on the training day.
Course Length
The length of the course is subject to your own study pace; however, we do advise a minimum of 8 hours independent study. You will then go on to 2 full days in the Academy for practical. You will receive your certification upon completion of the training.
