The course price includes all training materials and certification. For some blended learning and in house courses you also receive a starter kit.

The course duration varies depending on the course. E-learning courses depend on your own study pace. blended learning depend on your own study pace and have a practical element in the academy at a later date. In house courses vary from 1 full day to 4 full days.

Please bring your copy of the training manual. Pen and paper to make notes on, and any refreshments you wish to bring.

UKBTA Dress Code

The UKBTA will require you to wear a suitable beauty therapy uniform to meet health & safety legislation and standards.

Black or White tunic top or smart t-shirt
Smart Trousers
Flat shoes with covered toe and heal
Long hair must be tied back in a bun or ponytail
No jewellery to be worn
Neat polish or gel polish only

UKBTA Cancellation Policy

If for any reason you have to cancel your place or withdraw from the course before completion or failing to attend the course without giving at least 14 days prior notice, no refund will be made, or transfer offered.

If a student notifies the UK Beauty Training Academy in writing (email or letter) up to 14 days before the course start date, then the next available training date will be offered.

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, a student has a right to cancel a course within 14 days (known as a “cooling off period”) of entering a contract. In this instance a full refund will be made to the student. If the course commences within the cooling off period and the student has attended the course, or any teaching materials been accessed then the cooling off period is forfeited meaning that a refund cannot be obtained.

If a student withdraws from a course within 14 days or fails to attend the course for whatever reason, then the full fee will remain payable or any fees paid will be held.

On rare occasions, such as due to extenuating circumstances or insufficient learners being booked on a course, it may be necessary to reschedule or cancel a course upon which a booking is made. If the reschedule dates offered are not convenient to the student, UK Beauty Training Academy will refund payments already paid only. No other compensation will be made by UK Beauty Training Academy.

The UK Beauty Academy cannot accept responsibility for students’ changes to work commitments, illness or personal circumstances within the 14 day period and will not transfer or refund fees. If a course is cancelled due to low numbers or for reasons beyond our control, we will endeavour to transfer you to another course date. Any courses that are cancelled outside of this timeframe or having breached the above conditions will be charged at their full course cost.

Models are permitted to wait in the waiting are during the day, however social distancing guidelines must be observed. They are not permitted to enter the classroom when they are not undergoing their treatment.

If you are not able to provide models for your training day you must notify us 2 weeks prior of the training date.

We we will try to get you a model. However, if we cannot fulfil this you will need to move to the next available training date.

Models are essential for your practical skills, learning and for certification to be issued.

Please note – It is not our responsibility to provide models, however we will help you where we can.

Additional note: Models are required to cover the associated costs of the following treatments.

Many of our courses require no previous beauty experience or qualifications however the Aesthetics & Injectable courses have the following

Pin Registered Medical qualifications (doctor, nurse, dentist etc). OR,

6 months experience in Advanced Beauty Techniques that penetrate the skin (including Skin needling, Mesotherapy and Micropigmentation, and Anatomy and Physiology) OR,

12 months experience in Semi-Permanent Makeup with Anatomy and Physiology Training OR

Level 3 Beauty Therapy: General Route.

If you don’t have any experience but want to start at new career, we can still help you. We offer various options to move you forward into the Beauty and/or Aesthetics industry

You will receive your certificate upon completion of all training elements however to ensure that we act responsibly and carry out good practice, should the tutor feel that you would benefit from further training, certification may be held back and you will be offered the opportunity to attend the next available course that has space to further develop your skills. This is offered free of charge. if you fail to attend you will be required to re book to repeat your course. The UKBTA are committed to support all students with different learning needs to complete the course successfully.

It is advisable to bring your own lunch and refreshments with you during your course. We timetable for a 30-minute lunch break with a full day course and a short break on short courses.

There are shops within walking distance but we also like to recommend that everyone has eaten and is back in time for the afternoon training.

There is ample parking available at the academy.

Smoking is permitted outside of the academy only.
