Course Overview
What is Cryopen?
Cryobiology is the branch of biology that studies the effects of low temperatures on living tissues. Cryosurgery involves the use of low temperatures to induce irreversible damage to the tissue. Cryotherapy is the controlled exposure of living tissues to cold temperatures, usually above freezing point, to induce physiological changes but with no intention to destroy the tissue.
Entry requirements
This course is suitable for both medics and non-medics.
Medics – Medically qualified as a nurse, doctor or dentist with current registration with the NMC,GMC or GDC – direct entry is permitted
NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy (general route, not massage) – Direct entry is permitted
12 months needling experience or 6 months needling experience and level 3 Anatomy & physiology or above
If you do not have any of the above, don’t worry, we can still help you to achieve your goal by enrolling onto one bespoke Pathways to Aesthetics options, please call us to discuss your options on 01206 483367 or email us at admin@ukbta.co.uk
