What is Bum & Hip Dip Filler?

Demand for a more plump, shapely bottom or correcting ‘hip dips’ are some of our most common body treatment requests coming through of late to the aesthetics industry. There is a huge demand for bum enhancements with bum lift procedures increasing in popularity.

With the latest trends, cosmetic procedures like BBL surgery have increased in popularity which has been labelled as one of the most dangerous operations due to instances of death due to fat embolism. Surgeons in the UK have now been advised not to perform BBL Surgery.

Non surgical BBL is a safe and effective alternative, an injectable bum enhancement in the form of dermal filler injections.

Hip dips are gentle inward curves found below the hips and just above the thighs. Hip dips are often referred to as ‘violin hips’ and are naturally occurring curves on the body. Having Hip dips can be down to numerous reasons. Firstly, although not obvious on every body, hip dips are part of our natural skeletal physic, however, the prominence of hip dips is down the shape of your bones. Like BBL, dermal filler can be used to reduce Hip Dips inn clients.

Entry requirements
Qualifications and/or previous experience required includes Medical qualifications (doctor, nurse, dentist etc). OR,
6 months experience in Advanced Beauty Techniques that penetrate the skin (including Skin needling, Mesotherapy and Micropigmentation, and Anatomy and Physiology) OR,
12 months experience in Semi-Permanent Makeup with Anatomy and Physiology Training OR
Level 3 Beauty Therapy: General Route.

Duration
1 days theory plus 1/2 day practical training in academy.

Course Structure
The theory is undertaken on our student friendly leaning portal in which we recommend 8 -16 hours online study. On the practical day theory will be clarified, enabling us to focus more on the practical hands-on training.

Your comprehensive hands-on training will be supervised by highly skilled and experienced aesthetic trainers in small groups to maximize retention of knowledge. You will see demonstrations before moving onto models. Plenty of time is allocated to this part of the day, so that you are confident to practice independently afterwards

Models
You are required to supply at least 1 model for your practical training day. If you are unable provide models, please let us know upon booking so we can assist where possible with alternative options.

Dress Code
To meet industry standards a professional beauty uniform or scrubs are our preferred option. If you are yet to purchase salon/clinic uniform, plain black clothing is acceptable. Long sleeves must be rolled up to prevent cross contamination, jewellery must be removed, hair should be tied up, excessively long nails are hard to work with therefore nails must be kept short and tidy and all shoes must be closed toe. Flip flops are not suitable
