What is a 8-point face lift?

The 8 Point Face Lift Treatment known as the lunchtime facelift has taken the industry by storm, it improves skin tone, texture, hydration, and overall radiance. It can help to increase firmness and elasticity and promote healthier and softer-looking skin.

Entry requirements
This course is suitable for both medics and non-medics.

NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy (general route, not massage) – Direct entry is permitted
Medically qualified as a nurse, doctor or dentist with current registration with the NMC, GMC or GDC
12 months needling experience or 6 months needling experience and level 3 Anatomy & physiology or above or Foundation Filler.

Duration
1/2 day of theory plus 1/2 day of practical training in academy.

Course Structure
The theory is undertaken on our student friendly eLearning portal in which we recommend 4- 8 hours online study. On the practical day, theory will be clarified, enabling us to focus more on the practical hands-on training.

Your comprehensive hands-on training will be supervised by highly skilled and experienced aesthetic trainers in small groups to maximize retention of knowledge. You will see demonstrations before moving onto models. Plenty of time is allocated to this part of the day, so that you are confident to practice independently afterwards.

Models
You are required to supply a minimum of 2 models to cover all the areas studied. Models will be treated on both sides of the face, but we must see at least 1 in full to competently certify you for the practical elements. If you are unable to provide models, please let us know upon booking so we can discuss your options.

Dress Code
To meet industry standards a professional beauty uniform or scrubs are our preferred option. If you are yet to purchase salon/clinic dress, plain black clothing is acceptable. Long sleeves must be rolled up to prevent cross contamination, jewellery must be removed, hair should be tied back, nails are to be kept short and tidy and all shoes must be closed toe. Flip flops are not suitable.
